ROSA KLUB was established as a special club of the Slovak Union Gardeners in 1973 by a group of rose growers and admirers at the Borova Hora Arboretum of the University of Forestry and Wood Technology (currently the Technical University in Zvolen.) The goal of the ROSA KLUB is the advancement of rose growing. Our activities include:

  • lectures
  • practical lectures and training
  • visits to rose gardens
  • rose shows
  • excursions
  • Beauty of Roses - our magazine, which is distributed to our members

The ROSA KLUB has built up a long tradition of rose shows in Zvolen and other cities of Slovakia. The all-Slovakian rose show, 'Beauty of Roses and Shapes', is held in middle of June.

Fees: 100 Sk per year
